Michael Cobble, M.D., is Director of Canyons Medical Center in Sandy, Utah, a primary care physician and certified hypertension specialist. He is a board-certified clinical lipidologist and fellow of the National Lipid Association. Dr. Cobble is the Chief Medical Officer of Atherotech Diagnostics Lab.

  LDL3+4 Dense = LDL subclasses 3 and 4 (small, dense particles)
  LDL1+2 Buoyant = LDL subclasses 1 and 2 (large, buoyant particles)
  LP(a) = Lipoprotein (a)
  IDL = Intermediate Density Lipoprotein
